East Godavari District Telugu Language & Cultural Celebrations, which are conducting as a part of the 'Telugu Mahasabhalu' for one month, were grandly concluded here on Saturday in Kakinada. Firstly, a rally was conducted from McLaurin school grounds to Raja tank premises with students from various schools & colleges. The rally was started by Stamps & Registrations Minister Mr. Thota Narasimham and District Collector Mrs. Neethu Kumari Prasad. Later, Mr. Thota Narasimham has inaugurated Telugu Talli statue at PR College center. After that, various cultural activities were performed by the students in the program arranged at the Rank tank premises. Speaking on this, he asked Collector to arrange a big bronze statue of Telugu talli in Kakinada. He stated that it was really appreciatable that the Telugu mahasabhalu were being conducting after 37 years and we have celebrated it grandly. He felt that it is better to have a permanent stage for Telugu language celebrations. A total 100 members of poets, writers & other artists were felicitated here in this program. Participation certificates were given to those students, who had participated in this one month program. AJC Mr. Ramarao, RDO Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru, Commissioner Mr. Ravi Kumar, PCC member Mr. Pantham Nanaji, DCC President Mr. Dommeti Venkateswara Rao and many others were participated in the program.
