District Level Dance & Singing Competitions in various colleges will be conducted on 19th of this month at Ambedhkar Bhavan. District Collector, Mr. M.Ravi Chandra said this to news line here on Friday. District Youth Welfare Office will be conducting these competitions. Artists between 15 to 35 years can participate in these competitions. Under classical dance, competitions on Bharata Natyam, Kathak, Kuchipudi, Oddisi and Manipuri will be conducted. Under Classical singing, competitions on Hindusthan, Karnataka music and Under Folk songs category, Folk dance, Solo action (either Hindi or English). Under Instrumental Music category, competitions on Tabala, Veena, Harmonium, Flute, Guitar and Sitar will be conducted. Interested candidates must enroll their names from 8am on 19th of this month with their age proofs. Candidates must bring their instruments and other makeup items with them.
