Artist, Cartoonist, Film Director, Designer and Painter, Sattiraju Lakshmi Narayana popularly known as ‘Bapu’, the legendary director who is credited with bringing Telugu films out of the studios passed away in Chennai on Sunday. He was 80 years old. Starting from ‘Sakshi’ in 1967, to ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, in 2011, he wielded the megaphone for 51 films in all, including 12 in Hindi. According to this Kakinada Nataratna Kalamindir Team Mr.P.chandramouli, Tikkani Subbarao, T.Surya Rao, B.K.Mahesh, K.Surya Krishna , A.Kameswarao and B.Anjineelu were paid condolences at Bapu Photo on his dearth.
