Kakinada, May 24th: Dietcet-2009 was conducted peacefully at district head quarters, Kakinada on Sunday. In total 2497 attended the test conducted at 12 centers in the region. To avoid all kinds of mal practices and mass copying, each center was appointed with a higher official of the district.
Rajahmundry RDO (Revenue Divisional Officer), Mr. Vinay Kumar was appointed as supervisor for PR Government Boys High School, Dwama PD, M. Jyothi for Salipeta Municipal Girls High School and Kakinada RDO J.C Kishor Kumar was appointed for Church Square center girl’s high school.
Collector conducted surprise check at Salipeta Municipal Girls High School and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements. Meanwhile all is set for conducting District Selection Committee (DSC) -2009 on May 29 and 31 in East Godavari. Collector said that 34,000 candidates had applied for the exam and nearly 5,500 staff was employed for organizing the same.
