The 108th Birth Anniversary of great Indian Legendary Hockey Player Sri Dhyan Chand has celebrated grandly, here on Friday. The occasion is also marked as Sports Day in the country. According to this, the District Sports authority celebrated the day at the sports grounds in Kakinada. Firstly, the District Sports Development Officer (DSDO) S.V.Ramana, District Olympics Association President Mr. Y.D.Ramarao, Hockey Club member Mr. Ranjith Reddy and others offered garlands and paid rich tributes to the statue of Dhyan Chand at the grounds. They called the services of Legendary player Dhyan Chand on this occasion. Club Secretary Pantham Padmanabham, Rangaraya College PD Sparjan Raju, TVS Ranga, JNTU-K PD Syam Kumar, Ravi Raju, Nagamani and others participated in the program.
