Kakinada, Nov 19th: Praja Rajyam Party leaders staged Dharna at district Collectorate in Kakinada on Wednesday. The rally was against the incident that took place at Pulivendla regarding the destruction of property and the vehicles of the party leaders Vidyadhar Rao, Sobha Reddy and L.V.Prasad.
The rally was organized by two different groups one which was headed by Attili Sitarama Swamy and other was headed by women leaders Gunnam Mythili and Rajyalakshmi. The rally started at PRP party office and moved toward Collectorate via Gandhinagar Park.
The Dharna groups raised slogans at Collectorate, Denouncing the Chief minister Y.S.Rajashekar Reddy and his son Jagan Mohan Reddy for their autocratic acts at pulivendla and also criticized the congress supporters for their attack on women leaders. Petition was submitted to DRO by PRP members after the conclusion of Dharna.
Due to the Dharna traffic jam took place at the city roads and lot of problem was faced by the working persons and the school students to reach the offices and the schools.
