Kakinada, Mar 12th: Demanding the government to clear long pending proposals made by the teachers unions, the same in association with JACTO organized dharna at district Collectorate here on Friday. The activists raised slogans demanding to give promotions to aided teachers, to remove apprentice’s process, to fill the vacant teacher posts and other proposals made by the union members. Joint Action Committee district chairman, Achanta Ramanaidu attended as the chief guest for dharna and extended his support. Speaking on the occasion he revealed to intensify the stir if the government does not accept the demands. JACTO leaders, TV Swami Reddy, STU leader Venkata Rao, PRTU leader Neela, Venkateswara Rao and other took part in dharna.
