Kakinada, Jan 12^th: E-seva contract workers have organized dharna at district collectorate. Alleging for demands the workers union staged dharna on Monday. The demands made by the contract workers include increasing of salaries to the workers, regularization of workers having experience more than three years and providing job security schemes.

In the district at a total 150 workers were working under 18 e-seva centers. The centers are providing advanced services to the society with the latest technology. The services under E-seva include payment of current bills, phone bills, tax pertaining to house and vehicles etc. The Issue of birth and death certificates are also going to be included in the at E-seva services. With these services the delay in the payment of bills has reduced a lot.

With the strike organized by the union the services are going to terminate. The union have called for strike form 16^th of January so as to put pressure on the government. The concerned officers are taking necessary arrangements so as to avoid the stoppage of services. Joint collector Kona Sasidhar has ordered the concerned departments to look over the issue and take necessary measures.
