Kakinada, Mar 10th: AITUC (All India Trade Union Congress) organized dharna at district Collectorate here on Wednesday demanding the government to clear long pending demands of the contract workers. The activists and the trade workers in large numbers organized a rally from Temple Street to Collectorate via Balajicheruvu and ZP office. They raised slogans demanding the government to regularize the services of contract workers, to pay salaries in time and to implement GO No 6 immediately. Speaking on the occasion, AITUC district chief secretary Peddi Satyanarayana demanded the government to pay the wages for the contract workers working in government hospital. AITUC district president K. Krishna, working president Sattibabu and others took part in dharna.
