Various companies suggested to firm the security in the surrounding areas where Oil & Natural Gas reserves exploration is taking place. Police Director General Mr. Deepak Reddy participated in the inaugural of Firing Range in Peddapuram here on Friday. Later, he participated in the first Security Review Committee meeting with various representatives of companies dealing with the exploration. This meeting was conducted under supervision of DGP in Reliance Industries Limited, Gadimoga terminal. Representatives of Reliance Industries Limited, Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) Ltd participated in this review meeting. DGP also advised to provide employment for fishermen and also utilize their services in various forms, he added. Later, under the supervision of DGP, Officers and Company Representatives participated in the Areal Survey in Helicopter was held in the coastal line.  In this program, representatives from RIL, GSPC, Cairn Energy, Kakinada Sea Ports Ltd, Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard, Central Industrial Security Force, North Coastal Zone IG KV Rajendranath Reddy, Marine IG N.Chandramouli, Eluru Range DIG Surya Prakash Rao, District SP Trivikrama Varma, Rajahmundry Urban SP Umapathi, Kakinada DSP Sai Sri and others were present.
