Kakinada, Jan 9th: The inhabitants of Turangi village have demanded to terminate the services of Rajiv Arogyasri of Haritha Urology Hospital. They organized Dharna at district collectorate on Friday demanding to terminate the services. The activists raised slogans against the hospital for its negligence and irresponsible behavior towards the patients that were joining in the hospital under Rajiv Arogyasri.
Speaking on the occasion, Turangi village surpanch, Balagam Prasanna Kumar alleged that the hospital is playing with the lives of the people with their careless treatment. He said that the few of the patients who underwent operation in the hospital were facing many problems and were added with more side effects. He demanded to take severe action on the Haritha Urology Hospital Dr. Surendrababu. Later they submitted petition to the collector.
The activists also staged dharna at Government General Hospital demanding to take action on the government hospital urologist Dr. Badam Surendra Babu. They alleged that Dr. Surendra Babu was neglecting the services in the government hospital and running a private clinic. They submitted petition to the hospital superintendent Dr. M.B.R Sharma. Kakinada Rural MPP Venkateswara Rao, ZPTC member Peddababu, Congress member Pampana Ramakrishna and many more took part in dharna.
