Minister of State for Defense, Mr. M. M. Pallam Raju here on tuesday, has visited Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Kakinada. He got a bid welcome from JNTU-K Vice Chancellor Dr. Tulasi Ram Das, Rector Dr. Satya Prasad and Registrar Dr. E. V. Prasad to the university. He observed the two laboratories which are arranged for Electronics and Communications branches. He had also observed the Automation Lab, which is arranged with cost of Rs. 2.5 crores with the help of Honeywell company. He also looked into the Electro Optic Lab, which is arranged with cost of Rs. 60 Lakhs with the help of Bell company, Bangalore. He discussed with the management about the laboratories work. Later, Dr. Tulasi Ram Das had explained about the Optical Net working process, which is arranged with cost of Rs. 1.5 Crores with the help of Tej Networks. He explained the importance of these labs to the Minister. Later, Mr. Pallam Raju went through class rooms and spoke to the students. He asked the students to inform him if they faced any issues in the university. Along with Minister, Anaparthi MLA Mr. Seshareddy, DCC President Mr. Dommeti Venkateswarulu, Program Director Mr. K. V. Rao, HOD Mr. Babulu and others participated in the visit.
