Incharge Joint Collector Mr. RamaRao has conferenced yesterday with Civil Supplies officers and Gas Agencies representatives regarding "Deepam" project. The conference runned very seriously. He questioned all of them that, why Gas connections are not provided to the people who applied till now under "Deepam" project, even when they are ordered to do this 3 years ago. Gas agency representatives replied that some of the people in the list were dead and some were found. Mr. RamaRao seriously said not to tell him such stories and warned them that severe action will be taken if they have not finished this work within a week. Hundreds of connections are in pending in Kakinada, Peddhapuram, Pithapuram, Samalkot, Rampachodavaram, Rayavaram, kadiyam and other areas, this is not accepted and if this is the situation of 2009-10 work, what will be the situation of present works, he added. He said all these problems are because of the neglegence of MSO's and ASO's of Civil Supplies. He said connection should be given for Rs. 850/- to all and said severe action will be taken if any one forces them to purchase stove along with connection
