District Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad has ordered the officials to be alert for one more severe cyclonic storm 'Lehar' to the District. According to this, she has conducted a video conference meet with all the 60 mandals Tahsildars from the District, along with the Joint Collector Mr. Muthyala Raju, here on Monday from her chamber. Speaking on this, she directed them to make announcements in all the coastal & low-lying areas to keep public aware on this. She asked them to arrange generators where the electricity problem raised in the District during the cyclone. She also discussed about the transportation and other public related issues in this meet. 'We must fully be prepared for this upcoming storm', she stressed. 'The government has asked fishermen not to venture into the sea and is identifying all the villages that are likely to be hit by Cyclone Lehar', she added.
