Culprit who harassed CITU Chief with abusive messages was arrested by I-Town police station here on Friday. SI, Mr. K.Lakshman Reddy brought culprit in front of media people. Speaking on this, he stated that CITU Chief had sent an SMS invitation of Conference from her mobile. This message also reached to Janapureddy Sai Shankar’s mobile. Sai Shankar lives in Dabburipaalam of Kasimkota Mandalam Vishakapatnam. From then, Sai shankar had started to send abusive messages to her mobile. On this, she has complained to I-town police station on 13th of May. According to Sim card number, police had traced Sai shankar’s address. Therefore, they arrested him on Friday and sent to remand. However, Shankar said that one his friend S.Srinivas of Vijayanagaram had sent all such messages from his mobile. Therefore, Police are now in search of Srinivas. They got information that his Sim card is on the name of Nanaji. After receiving the information that culprit was caught, Women Association members reached police station in large number and due to this tension was prevailed at police station. They were about to attack the culprit but police were alert on this.
