Cricket betting gang in Kakinada rural area was caught. Police took the the gang in custody after making raid here on Sunday night. According to police, they received information that a gang is engaged in Betting during the final match between India Vs West Indies One Day series. Five accused from Vidya Nagar, Vakalpudi who participated in this betting were took in custody. Police possessed 26 cell phones, 3 laptops and up to 1Lakh cash. At the same time, cricket betting was also held near Meka Narayanamma Thota, Annama Ghati Center. Indrapalem police took the gang of five into custody. A cash of Rs.5000/- was possessed from them. Total 10 accused were taken into custody on this cricketing betting.
