Kakinada, Dec 26th: Barathiya Communist Party (CPI) leaders have celebrated their party formation day in the district on Friday. December 26th being the formation day for CPI, the leaders has hoisted the party flag and initiated the programs in their various party offices. Flag hosting took place in various areas including Muttha Nagar, J.N.T.U engineering college, Dairy farm, Recharlapeta and many more areas.
District party member Cherukuri Subba Rao has hoisted the flag at Sambhamurthy nagar party office. Party associate T. Madhu has also participated in the occasion. Speaking on the occasion he recollected the day 26th December 1925 on which CPI was formed as communist party. He spoke about the roots of formation of the party.
Samalkot: The foundation day was also celebrated at Samalkot with many of the party members. Flag hosting took place in party offices and important centers. Party leaders Chittimaani Venkata Ramana, Madagala Ramana has hosted the flag and paid rich tributes to the leaders who died in the fight of freedom struggle.
