The High Court has sent a notice to East Godavari District Collector Mrs. Neethu Kumari Prasad here on Tuesday by asking the explanation about 'Vikasa'. As we know, Vikasa is established as a Child Labour firm firstly, but later it has became a Outsourcing unit by providing jobs to SC & ST's on contract basis. According to the sources, some big contractors in the city has went to the court on this issue, by asking how can Vikasa provide jobs by giving ESI & PF to the employees with out having any firm registration. Asking an explanation on this, high court passed a notice to the Collector to attend in the court on 3rd of December on this case as per W.P. No: 35526 of 2012. Along with Collector, District Employment Training Officer and Vikasa Program Director are also required to attend, as it was mentioned in the court notice.
