Kakinada, May 7th: East Godavari district collector, Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwevedi reviewed the arrangements for counting the recently polled votes scheduled to held on May 16 with the officials here on Thursday at local Zilla Parishat Meeting Hall. Addressing the returning officers, additional returning officers and data entry operators that attended the 2 phase of training program, collector ordered them to avoid any kind of mistakes during the data entry process.

 

Various other issues regarding the counting that include the counting of postal ballot especially dealing with acceptance and rejection of the postal ballots, arrangement of media centers at counting centers, data entry works, online process and many more were discussed. He ordered the officials to cross check the data before entering them online. He warned to suspend the officers who were concerned if any irregularity is noticed in data entry works. Joint collector, Kona Sasidhar, Sun collector Manik Raj, Zilla parishat CEO Bhavani Das and many more took part.
