Kakinada, May 11^th: East Godavari District Joint Collector, Mr. Kona Sasidhar inspected the counting centers set for organizing centralized counting in Kakinada on Monday. JC reviewed the works at Andhra Polytechnic and MSN Charities and showed satisfaction over the arrangements. The authorities have introduced centralized system of counting and with this new system counting for Kakinada, Rajahmundry and Amalapuram parliamentary constituencies and the Assembly segments falling under them will be held at Kakinada. So the authorities are making arrangements to avoid any untoward incidents.

JC ordered for arranging flex boards for indicating the direction of the counting centers so as to avoid confusion for the polling staff and other persons concerned. He ordered the concerned Assembly returning officers to arrange chairs and other furniture required for counting staff. He asked to make arrangements for setting up of telephones, fax, and Xerox machines to send information to media simultaneously after each round. He asked to set cable connection to the television sets for giving live telecast of counting for the public. RDO, B. Lavanya Veni, Social welfare JD P.S.A Prasad were along with JC.
