Counseling for MBBS begins

Vijayawada, July 20th: Counseling for admissions to MBBS and BDS courses in various medical colleges in the state began on Monday at the NTR University of Health Science amidst tight security. The counseling also began simultaneously in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati cities. The university registrar, Mr. T. Venugopala Reddy, has supervised the arrangements made for the counseling in Vijayawada.

 

On the first day, rankers between 1 and 1,000 attended the counseling and joined various colleges in the state. The rankers between 1,001 and 1,700 will attend the counseling on Tuesday. The candidates have registered their names with the officials and opted for the colleges of their choice. A total of 3,180 MBBS seats will be filled in 31 colleges in the state. Counseling is also being held for admission to 1,092 BDS course seats in 20 colleges across the state. The university staff has verified the certificates brought by the candidates. The counseling will be concluded on July 25.
