The first counseling for admissions into the five years International Integrated Masters Degree Program (IIMDP-2011) was conducted here on Sunday. This counseling program was conducted in association with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU-K). Students and parents from all corners of the state attended for this counseling. This course will be coordinated as B.Tech + MS program. This counseling program is being conducted in joint association with BTH (Sweden), JNTU (Kakinada) and AIT (Bangkok). Entrance exam was conducted for total 140 seats ECE(40),Computer Science(40), Civil Engineering (60) and 480 students attended the exam. Total 97 seats were filled. Totally 40 ECE seats, 37 CSE seats and only 20 civil seats were filled. Second counseling will be conducted in the month of June. Top six rankers received applause at JNTU College. Vice Chancellor of JNTU-K Prof. Allam Apparao, Director Dr. Murali Krishna (FUAR), Principal Uday Bhaskar, Incharge Registrar Prasad, Rector Satya Prasad, Project Director V.Gurudutt (Sweden), Secretary Dr.Raj(Hyderabad) and others participate in this counseling program.
