Hyderabad, Oct 27th: Telugu Desam Party President Nara Chandra Babu Naidu contested against Chief minister Y.S Rajashekar Reddy regarding the corruption done against the Coastal corridor. Babu said that nearly one lakh crore was corrupted under this project
Babu addressing the meeting said that, the Government has occupied nearly 10 lakh acres of land from the farmers at a lower cost and misusing the land for its own purpose. From the occupied land Government gave nearly 25,000 acres to Vanpic. From the 10,000 acres land occupied in Kakinada, Government promised to give nearly 51% lands to the ONGC which was also pulled out from the project.
Babu said that Y.S is not aware of polices and orders of the government and he demanded for an enquiry into entire issue by a sitting judge of the Supreme Court. Babu added that the prime minister is also showing his fault for not being aware of the corruption under the name of SEZ in the state.
