Results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations were released this Sunday and corporate schools figured 69 pass percentage this year. Among 14 top schools, 1270 students attended the examination and 875 students were success. Municipal High school of Sriram Nagar attained highest pass percentage of 86% in district and Endowment colony school attained lowest pass percentage of 50%. The overall pass percentage decreased marginally to 69% from 71% last year. In order to increase the pass percentage of Municipal schools, Commissioner GSN Murthy took special care and appointed Senior teachers for special classes. Due to irregular attendance of students pass percentage has been decreased in municipal schools. Case study have been started to find the reasons behind decrease in pass percentage this year.
