Hyderabad, Aug 11th: Corporate hospitals in the city have been extending their services in treating swine flu victims in response to the government’s invitation to supplement its efforts in checking the spread of HINI virus. Representatives of corporate and private hospitals on Tuesday told the government that they would set up “isolation wards” in their hospitals for treating the effected people.
They wanted the government to come out with clear guidelines on the extent of support it will provide on medical, diagnostic and supply of N95 masks among other things. Currently the cases are being treated only in government hospitals. The government said that it would come out with guidelines for corporate hospitals in 2 days.
