The Convocation Celebrations conducted at JNTU College of Engineering, Kakinada continued with same energy here on Monday. In order to mark the Independence Day, Vice Chancellor of JNTU-K, Prof. Allam Apparao participated in the celebrations conducted at Alumni Auditorium on Monday evening 6pm. Speaking on this, Mr. Apparao called upon students to provide services to our country considering all freedom fighters as source of inspiration. Later, Solo and Group singing competitions were conducted for students. K.Purnanandham coordinated as judge in these competitions. Dance performance given by the students grabbed attention of the audience. Earlier, Prof. Apparao participated in the Independence Day Celebrations conducted at JNTU Sports Grounds on Monday morning. Students from affiliated colleges across the 8 districts participated in this celebrations. Rector K.Satya Prasad, Registrar V.Ravindra, Directors Prasad Raju, Padma Raju and others were present.
