A program on Congress Membership Registration was organised yesterday at Kala Venkata Rao Bhavan in District Congress Office under the supervision of DCC President Mr. Dommeti Venkateswarulu. Central Minister Pallam Raju, MP Mr. Ratna Babu, MLA's Mr. Sesha Reddy, Mrs. Vanga Geeta and Mr. Dommeti handed over memberships. On this occasion Minister Mr. Mallipudi Mangapathi Pallam Raju said that Welfare of all communities can be acheived only in Congress rule. MLA Mr. Sesha Reddy said that Chief Minister Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy is striving for the welfare of the people by organising many schemes like Kilo Rice for One Rupee, Interest Free Loans and Employeement to the unemployed youth. MLA Mrs. Vanga Geetha wished that party activists would strive hard for strengthening the party. Mr. Dommeti said that they should aim for the target of 3,90,000 memberships for all the 3907 booths. In the very begining they have addressed condolences for the death of Congress party SC Cell Converner Mr. Geddam Rama Rao.
