Kakinada, Dec 7th: Praja Rajyam Party suspects congress hands in the ban of road shows. Speaking to the media persons on Sunday, party leader K.S.R Murthy said that the party was badly affected by the ban of road shows and alleged that the ruling party and chief minister Y.S.Raja Shekar Reddy has hatched the plan to stop the road shows.
Mr Murthy said that congress party is jealous of the huge crowds that turned out in the party meeting and road shows of the PRP. He suspects this, as no Government advocate has filed the case against the ban of road shows. In fact the state advocate general has refused to file the case which led the High Court to refuse permission for road shows.
He said that, PRP being the political novice was affected by the court decision. He also said that the PRP party was launched on the main agenda to wipe out corruption in the society where many political leaders were using the funds which were given to them under the development basis for their personal use. “Lokshaba speaker Somnath Chateerji could not find any supporter to wipe this”, he said.
