Kakinada, April 20th: East Godavari District collector, Mr. Gopala Krishna ordered to conduct mock voting before going for polls on April 23rd. A training program was organized for the micro observers appointed for Kakinada city constituency at Kakinada Revenue Divisional Office on Monday. Speaking on the occasion collector ordered the official to conduct mock polling before the polling starts.
He said that micro observers have to play a vital role in the prevention of bogus votes. He advised them to video graph each and every voter at identified sensitive and hypersensitive areas. He announced that nearly 96 percent of the voters were issued with photo identity cards and the remaining 4 percent voters can use any of the 15 alternative identity documents which were permitted by the election commission. He asked the voters and the polling staff to cooperate with each other during polls. Micro observers attended the meeting.
