In the State Level Women’s Hockey Championship Competition which was conducted recently in Ananthapur District, students from PR Government Degree College (Autonomous) achieved championship trophy in state level. In order to appreciate their success a program was conducted in PRG College this Thursday and Principal M.Satyanarayana participated as chief guest. While addressing, Mr.Satyanarayana said that 8 students from PRG College participated in this competitions. For the sports person who attained success in national level competitions will be given concession in fees and this is to encourage them he added. Speaking on this, College PD Ravula Venkata Swamy said that this team already achieved success while they played on behalf of Andhra University. Coach V.Ravi Raju who is giving training for the team gave special wishes to the team. In this program, District NSS Program Officer Dr.PV Krishna Rao, Commerce Department Head P.Sukumar, Youth Red Cross Secretary K.Narsihma Rao participated.
