A district level review committee meet was held here on Tuesday presided over by the minister for panchayat raj and district incharge, Mr. Botsa Satyanarayana. The minister for social welfare, Mr. Pilli Subash Chandra Bose, the minister for rural water supply, Mr. Pinepe Viswaroop, MLAs and MLCs and other participated.

The meeting started with a discussion on measures to be taken up to face the prevailing drought situation in the district.
