Kakinada, Mar 1st: In order to create awareness about various welfare schemes taken up by the congress government, the district authorities are conducting a competitive program for the school students. The competitions will be held on March 8th at local Venkateswara function hall under the chairmanship of state congress committee member and senior leader, Mr. D. Chandra Shekara Reddy. Poster for the same was released by Ch. Venugopala Krishna on Thursday at district congress party office.
According to Mr. Chandra Shekar Reddy, the program will be conducted at both junior and senior level. Students studying 2,3,4,5 will fall under junior level and students from 6th to 10th are eligible to participate in senior level. In each category ten students will be selected as winners and cash prizes will be given to them. The first prize winner will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs 30,000, second will be awarded with a cash prize of 20,000 Rs and the third will be awarded with a prize of 10.000 Rs. The prizes will be distributed to the winners at a program that will be organized at Raja tank on March 10th.
