The 44th National Libraries Weekly celebrations will be conducted from today at District Central Library. Deputy Librarian Satyanarayana said this to news line here on Sunday. Speaking on this, he stated that various competitions will be conducted for students on this. Competitions on categories like Pre Juniors, juniors, seniors, College Level Inter and Degree will be conducted, he added. Students from 1st to 4th Standards in Pre-Juniors category, students from 5th to 7th in juniors category and 8th to 10th students as seniors category. Students aged 16 and 17 years in College Level Inter and students with 18years age in College Level Degree. Students of Kakinada are only eligible to participate in these competitions, he added. Students must be bringing either proof from respective educational institution or identification proof. Painting competitions on 15th, essay writing on 16th, folk songs singing competitions on 17th, elocution on 18th will be conducted. For more details, contact phone number 0884-2379219. On the first day of these celebrations, the picture of Jawahar Lal Nehru will be unveiled. Joint Collector Mr. Ahmed Babu will be participating as chief guest in this program.
