Mahabubnagar, Nov 30th: Demanding to solve their long pending grievances, members of A.P.Commercial Taxes Non-Gazetted Officers Association has decided to start an agitation. Secretary of the association K. Rajaiah in a press release here on Monday said that the government failed to resolve their long pending charter of demands even after several representations and strike notice was served.

He said that the association had requested the government to solve their justified demands by November 20 but their request was ignored, forcing them to undertake an agitation. Accordingly, the members of the association are going to stage a day-long dharna in front of the CCT office on December 4. Mr. Rajaiah informed that the State general body would also meet on the same day (December 4) to decide the future course of action if necessary.

Among others, their demands include filling up of city list quota vacancies of DCTO’s and ACTO’s with the feeder category employees, filling up of DCTO’s and senior Assistant vacancies sanctioned in the Vigilance and Enforcement Department by adding them CT cadre strength, rotate the cadre officers allotted to the CT Department to all parts of the State instead of posting to Vishakapatnam, Kakinada and Charminar as DC’s.
