District Collector, Mr. M.Ravi Chandra stated that Rabies disease is killing one person for every 10mins across the world. More than 55,000 people are being killed every year, he added. He expressed disappointment that total 22,0000 people were from our own country. He advised every one that if dog bites, take immediate treatment without ignoring. He explained that Rabies is one of the most dangerous diseases and ARV injection must be taken immediately, he added. Vaccine must be taken every year without fail, he added. He also said that if patient suffering from Rabies disease bites, Anti-Rabies medicine must be taken as soon as possible. He reminded that negligence might cause death as warned by doctors.
