Collector's best wishes to soldiers

Kakinada, Dec 7th: Collector Gopalakrishna Dwivedi conveyed his best wishes to soldiers on the eve of Armed Forces Flag Day (December 7). He appreciated the three Services’ personnel for making supreme sacrifices to defend the country and said that the Government was taking necessary steps for the welfare of their families. The Sainik Welfare Department was taking care of the ex-servicemen and families of soldiers who died in harness.

Mr. Dwivedi exhorted the people to make generous contributions to the welfare of Armed Forces whose sacrifices were unparalleled. He appealed to the cinema theaters’ owners to donate their earnings of one of the four shows on December 7 for the welfare of soldiers. Donations have to be made in the form of demand drafts drawn on `Director, Sainik Welfare Department, Block-4, 2nd Floor, Gruhakalpa premises, Nampalli Hyderabad’.
