District Collector Mrs. Neethu Kumari Prasad has ordered officials to take immediate actions for control of viral diseases in the district. According to this, She had conducted a set conference with MPDO's, Tahsildars, Municipal Commissioners, Rural Water, Agricultural & Health departments officials here on Monday at Collectorate. She announced high alert in the district on public health for one month according to the viral diseases like Swine Flu, Dengue fevers, which are spreading in the district. She ordered officials to conduct huge awareness programs on the control of Dengue, Swine Flu & other viral diseases for the public. She ordered them to use chemicals in grama panchayati's to avoid mosquitoes. Individual toilets for every home should be constructed in all the villagers, she added.
