Doctors and administrative staff of Government General Hospital were surprised when the Collector made a sudden inspection here on Wednesday. District Collector, Mr. M.Ravi Chandra warned the staff of GGH that stringent actions would be taken towards one who takes bribe from patients. He also checked wallets of Radiology staff. A Woman from Jagannaickpur, Kakinada complained to Collector that staff in Orthopedic OP demanded for money to do dressing. Due to this, Collector made sudden visit to Government hospital. He ordered Superintendent of Hospital Mr. MBR Sarma and M.D Mr. M.Uday Kumar to arrange Flex with a message “Giving and taking Bribe is a crime”. He advised that administrative department of hospital must take actions such that staff would say no to bribe.
