Collector M.Ravi Chandra participated in the Praja Patham program at Vemulawada village in Karapa mandal on Thursday. On the occasion, he said that the gathering contact program facilitates quick clearance of administrative matters which in turn helps in solving the people's problems. Mr. Ravi Chandra said the record of village meetings should be sent to the district officials concerned to further matters. Steps were being taken on a daily basis to solve the people's problems and the officials were instructed to give priority to complaints related to drinking water scarcity and power supply. Kakinada Rural MLA K.Kannababu requested the Collector to assemble a meeting to sort out issues pertaining to Indiramma housing scheme which became an easy avenue for corruption. Details of works done under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme have to be displayed in the village meetings. Karapa and Pedapudi ZPTC members M.Suribabu and N.Venkateswara Rao, Karapa Mandal president Chandrakala and others participated.
