The District Collector Mr.M.Ravi Chandra congratulated District Hockey Team who attained success in State Inter District Women's Hockey Championship that was conducted recently in Ananthapur District. Hockey team met District Collector at Collectorate this Wednesday. Speaking on this, Collector said that while he was Collector of Chitoor District in 2008 he presented Championship trophy to the same team. Hockey team requested the Collector that the hockey ground in District sports ground is not in a proper way and he should consider their request they added. Responding to this, Collector said that he would pass orders to develop the hockey ground for National Level Competitions. District Sports Development Officer R.Ravi, Olympic Association Secretary K.Padmanabham, Hockey Coach V.Ravi Raju were present.
