On his one-day visit to E.G District, the State Chief Minister Mr. N.Kiran Kumar Reddy has started around Rs.500 Crores worth development works in the district.
According to sources, CM arrived to Police Parade Grounds, Kakinada at 10.30 AM by a Helipad. There after, he reached Panduru village and laid foundation stone for CPWS scheme for Kakinada Rural. In the same village, he has inaugurated AP Social Welfare Residential School, which is constructed with Rs.9.65 Crores. Addressing a public meeting at the school, he said that he will look into Kotipalli-Narsapuram Railway line project. He assured the Petroleum University to the district. Many more schemes will be started for the development of the district, he added.
Later, he reached Kakinada Sasikanth Nagar area and laid foundation stone for Water Supply scheme (APMDP). There after, he arrived Kakinada Municipal Corporation and inagurated the Municipal Council hall, which was newly renovated with Rs.1.40 Crores. Later, he went to Ananda Nilayam and laid foundation stone for Hostel worth of Rs.80 Lakhs. He has interacted with Ananda Nilayam students and had lunch with them. He also laid foundation stones for Sambamurthy Nagar Social Welfare Residential School worth of Rs.7.12 Crores (expecting), and SC College with Rs.2.20 Crores in Kakinada.
He has laid foundation stones for many Girijan Welfare Development works worth of Rs.27.40 Crores in the district. Later, he reached Ramachandrapuram and completed many inaugurations of development works worth Rs.27 Crores. HRD Minister Mr. M.M.Pallam Raju, District MLA's, MLC's, MP's and other congress party leaders, members & followers were participated in the program along with CM.
