Kakinada, Feb 27^th: Deputy Election Commissioner, Mr. J.P Prakash has ordered the returning officers to keep a close look on all the political rallies and road shows that will organized in the district during the time of elections. A video conference was organized by Mr. Prasad from Hyderabad on Friday. East Godavari district collector Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwivedi along with the returning officers has attended the conference. He ordered the officers to give training to the polling officers about the rules and regulations of the elections and asked to take severe action on those who violate the same. He revealed that all the complaints pertaining to the elections can be made by calling the toll free number-1100.

He also asked the officers to arrange booth level meeting frequently so as to avoid the problems during the time of elections. Chief election commissioner I.V Subba Rao also spoke on the occasion. He ordered the officers to prepare a second level voter list and enroll all the missing names in the new list. He also ordered to fill all the vacant returning and assistant returning officer posts as soon as possible. ITDA P.O Yogitha Rani, collector Gopala Krishna Dwivedi, sub collector Manikyaraj, RDO’s and VRO’s participated in the video conference.
