Close circuit cameras at Railway stations

     Annavaram, Nov 26th: South Central Railway department is making all preparations to arrange close circuit cameras in the railway stations. Railway Protection Force (RPF), Assistant security commissioner Chandra Shekar Singh declared this on Wednesday in a press meet at Annavaram.

     Speaking to the media Chandra Shekar Singh said that the arrangements were already completed in Rajahmundry, Vijayawada and Vishakapatnam railway stations and the department is arranging the same in Anakapalli and Kakinada railway stations. With these CC cameras the police department can easily trace the culprits, if any in the stations.

    He also said that, they were starting an information department called “Mythri Yochana” in railway stations to provide information to the passengers. This information deparment works both for the people and the authorities in giving information regarding the transfer on unlicensed goods, suspicious persons and terrorists. The officers under this department will be in Mufti and provide information to the higher authorities.
