Strike have been conducted by People Welfare and Labour Welfare departments combinedly and demanded to resolve the problems that have got settled in the Government General hospital. On the day of Hospital Development Committee meeting, CITU & AITUC separately participated in the strike at Mother and Child department. CPM District Chairman Mr. T.S Prakash demanded government to resolve 22 problems immediately which are commonly facing by the people. They demanded that, salaries of members working in Out Patient ward and Security Guards should be given as per GO. Workers complained to Collector that they are not receiving salaries from last four months and hence facing a lot of problems. KV Parameswari, K. Mohan Rao and others participated in this.
