"Chinnari Chupu" Program has been started yesterday grandly under the control of Rajiv Vidya Mission at all the schools of 60 mandals in the district. This program was started grandly in 5028 Government schools in the district. This program is categorised into three stages. The first stage is at school level, as started yesterday, second stage is at mandal level and finally the third stage of this program is going to held at district level. In the first stage at school level eye checkup was done to all the students in all the 5028 schools in the district. City MLA Mr. Dwarampudi Chandra Sekhar Reddy has started the first stage at Salipeta Municipal Girls High School. On this occasion he said that eyes are the vital organisms of all the organisms in our body and program to rectify any eye problem in children is the thing to be appreciated. Officers should take special care in making this program successful, he added. Rajiv Vidya Mission Coordinator Mr. Saladi Sudhakar said that 5,25,753 students will get benifited with this scheme. First stage of this program is going to be continued till 28th of November and spectacles will be distributed for free to all the students who require, he added.
Modern Treatement facilities were brought into the availability of public in Skin Department of Government General Hospital, Kakinada. Mordernising works and modern equipments were organised with a fund of Rs. 20 Lakhs. These modern treatment techniques are going to be inaugurated grandly today by Rangaraya Medical College Principal Dr. A. S. Kameswara Rao and GGH Superintendent Dr. Venkata Buddha. These modern equipment of Photo Theraphy were provided by the Officers with the proposal of Skin Department head Dr. B. Bala Chandrudu. Narrow Band and Puwa Theraphy equipments will be very useful for the treatment of Leucoderma and Soriasis. Treatment for Pimples and unwanted hair is also going to be provided here. Leprosy is also being cured with the help of para medical officers. The schedule for the treatment is as follows. Soriasis Clinic on Monday, Leucoderma Clinic on Tuesday, Leprosy On Wednesday, Sexual Diseases treatment on Thursday, Veneral disease clinic on Friday and Hairfall treatment clinic on Saturday.
