Sambhamurthy Nagar, Dec 26th: V.S Lakshmi college students have conducted survey on the child labour. As a part of N.S.S camp organized by the college management, the students were asked to collect the details of the children who were being away from studies and were working as child labor in houses, shops and small establishments.
Students has educated the parents of the child labour about the importance of education and asked them to educated their children and to condemn them going to work. District program member P.V. Krishna Rao also participated in the survey. He toured in rural areas and asked the people about their problems and educated them in various aspects.
He also spoke to the students and motivated them. He encouraged them to participate in such awareness programs and asked them to extend their help for the development of the society. He shared experiences with the students in the survey they have conducted. Vice Principal Padmaja, Village Sarpanch N. Durga Lakshmi, N.S.S program member Mrudula Devi and many more took part in the survey.
