Pithapuram, Dec 5th: A girl died while undergoing treatment in hospital after a long struggle with life. The incident took place on Friday in Pithapuram in East Godavari District. She was forcefully made to drink juice containing glass pieces by her husband and his family members. He was suffering with ill health from few days and took her last breath on Friday morning in KGH Vishakapatnam.
According to sources Harathi was an inhabitant of Pithapuram of East Godavari District. She was pursuing her M.sc amd appearing for Group-1 exams. She fell in love with her relative Surya Prakash who was an advocate. They both got married without informing to any of the family members. She used to live with her parents as usual.
Harathi came to know that her husband was engaged with another woman and was going to marry her. Harathi quired Surya Prakash regarding the same for which he gave no answer. She lodged a case in police station due to which her husband was suspended. Surya Prakash was so angry due to suspension and made Harathi to consume glass pieces forcefully along with his family members.
Harathi was admitted in Kakinada Government hospital for treatment and her parents joined her in Vizag KGH for better treatment. Doctors said that both her kidneys were damaged and after long struggle with life she was dead on Friday.
