Kakinada Mc Laurin High School observed its Centenary Celebrations here on  Friday. According to this, East & West Godavari District's MLC Mr. K.V.Satyanarayana Raju has participated as a chief guest to the celebrations. Speaking on this, he has stated that the huge number of Teacher posts will be recruited soon in the district. He said, state government have expensed Rs.1854 crores for primary & high schools for basic amenities in this year. He appreciated old students of Mc Laurin school, who are working for the development of the school. Later, DEO Mr. Srinivasula Reddy said that they are planning to provide special study materials for 9th & 10th class students in the school. As, Mc Laurin is an aided school, they are working only according to the regulations, he added. Later, some of the old students shared their experience with the school. Mr. P.S.Sitapati Rao, old student of the school, donated Rs.20 thousand to the school for tables & chairs. The amount has been received by RDO. Later, MLC, RDO, DEO & Old Students Association President Mr. Padmakar, were presented awards to the winners of Cricket, Volleyball, Chess, etc., competitions in the school.
