Arrangement are being made to grow cattle fodder in 200 hillock acres of the District. Animal Husbandry Department JD, Mr. Livingston here on Wednesday said, our Collector is showing interest in cattle fodder. For this, farmers are given 75% discount on seeds. Sweet Sodan Grass, Maize and Pulses seeds are made ready to distribute, he added. 400 metric tons of seeds will be made available in every Veterinary hospital in the mandal, he added. Farmers with land of 25 cents to 1 acre will be given discount on seeds, he added. One can grow cattle fodder in a maximum of 1 acre land, he added. Special care has been taken for Animal Protection, he added. 500 new Veterinary Hospitals are going to be started in the month of July, he added. Every Mandal is going to have 7-8 Veterinary Hospitals, he added.
