Kakinada, Mar 13th: The election authorities are monitoring the overall law and order situation in the district every day and were booking cases on troublemakers. Nearly 200 cases were booked till now in Amalapuram Lok Sabha constituency. A close watch is being made in various assembly constituencies which include Gannavaram, Kothapeta, Mandapeta, Mummidivaram, Razole and Ramchandrapuram.
Speaking to the media persons, East Godavari district joint collector and returning officer of Amalapuram constituency, Mr. Kona Sasidhar said that the election authorities are taking all measures to book cases on those who violate the election code. He asked the voters to exercise their votes without fear. He revealed that 95% of the voters have acquired photo identity cards. He also revealed that he along with the other returning officers will be touring the various places in the district to look after the arrangements.
